THE WOMAN BEHIND THE PHOTO

Ayelette Robinson’s claim to fame arrived when she won 2nd place at a World Rock Paper Scissors Association Southwest Regional competition in Northern California (the association is based in Canada). There were 123 competitors, and her 2nd place award came with a trophy and $500.

Although nothing compares to that winning moment, Ayelette is also a National Latin Ballroom Champion, a (previous) corporate attorney, and has volunteered with, and been on the boards of, several animal welfare nonprofits. An avid supporter of all things furred, feathered, and scaled, Ayelette has lived joyfully with birds, dogs, cats, rodents, and fish. She is a graduate of Brown University and University of Michigan Law School.

As an actor, Ayelette strives to make life’s challenging moments feel universal and surmountable, and she brings deep sensitivity and empathy to all her characters. For her lead performance in her project The Couch, Ayelette was selected to appear on the EMMY® Awards nominations ballot for Outstanding Actress In A Short Form.

As a producer, Ayelette’s mission is to advance the presence of underrepresented communities in front of and behind the camera. Her teams are a diverse mix of genders, ages, ethnicities, and sexual orientations. Her projects always pass the Bechdel and Vito Russo Tests. She has been seen on LA’s #1 news station KTLA, the streaming morning show Good Morning La La Land, and Film Daily discussing The Couch, which boasts an innovative structure allowing the viewer to change the narrative in real-time. Her movie Laughing Again has been accepted into ten festivals (so far), and she is in development on a thriller feature See Me.

Last but hardly least, Ayelette is also the founder of ActorsGuru, a career management tool for actors.
